Kalssoo nods. “As you wish.”
You quickly settle into a routine in your new life with Kalssoo and Kaa. At the start of every morning Kalssoo hypnotizes Kaa to make sure that he stays hypnotized. After that hang out with Kalssoo for a while, and mostly ignore Kaa. Sometimes you go explore the area with her. Sometimes you merely sit and chat. Sometimes you let her wrap her tail around you, and sometimes not. You don’t do any real work in the morning, though.
Every day after lunch, Kalssoo hypnotizes Kaa again. After that, you and Kalssoo take Kaa out for a walk. On days when Kaa gets hungry, you help Kaa capture and eat something.
After you return, you ask Kalssoo to hypnotize you. She does, and keeps you hypnotized for the rest of the day. After Kalssoo hypnotizes you, she makes you do whatever work needs to be done that day, such as gathering food, working on a new house, or cleaning what you already have. Once the work is done, she coils you in her tail, and feeds you dinner like that with you eating from her hands.
When it comes time to sleep for the night, she tells you to sleep, and her hypnotic power compels you to sleep soundly through the night. Kalssoo tells you that she hypnotizes Kaa once more every night after she puts you to sleep, though you’re never awake to see it. You awake the next morning no longer hypnotized, and the cycle repeats.
One morning, you tell Kalssoo, “I really like being hypnotized by you. But I’d like to try being hypnotized by Kaa, too.”
Kalssoo gives you a weird look. “You can only be hypnotized by one of us at a time.”
“One at a time, but both at different times, right?”
Kalssoo mulls your request. “I guess I could make Kaa hypnotize you. He’ll still be under my control, so he can’t hurt you.”
“Could you make Kaa coil me, too?”
“I could. You’re pushing it, though.”
You smile. “Let’s try it.”
Kalssoo rolls her eyes. “Very well. Kaa, come here!”
Kalssoo commands Kaa to hypnotize you, and Kaa moves his head up to be near yours. Green and yellow colored rings appear in Kaa’s eyes. You stand there and stare, and can feel Kaa’s hypnotic power. It feels stronger than Kalssoo’s, and you notice that you’re quickly unable to look away, or to do anything else but simply stare into Kaa’s eyes and surrender to his hypnosis. It feels wonderful to do so.
After a couple of minutes, you hear a *PING*, and you know that you are hypnotized. At this point, Kalssoo commands Kaa to coil you, and he does. It feels marvelous, and just as you hoped. You’re too hypnotized to worry about the danger, but even if you weren’t, it would be comforting to know that Kalssoo is still in control of Kaa, so Kaa can’t hurt you.
After about an hour, Kalssoo tells Kaa to uncoil you and to release you from his hypnosis. Kaa tells you to wake up, and you do.
You turn to Kalssoo and say, “Wow, that was amazing.”
Kalssoo doesn’t seem happy. “I sure hope you enjoyed it. I didn’t. I was bored.”
The rest of your day continues as normal. Then the next morning, Kalssoo asks you if you want Kaa to hypnotize you again.
Suspecting a trap, you say, “I’d like it, but I don’t want you to be bored again.”
Kalssoo gives you a wry smile. “Don’t worry. I won’t be.”
Kalssoo then commands Kaa to hypnotize you, and Kaa promptly does. Kalssoo’s reply to you worries you somewhat, but you’re hypnotized by Kaa too quickly to formulate a protest.
After you’re fully hypnotized by Kaa, Kalssoo tells Kaa to make you do a variety of things for her entertainment. She makes Kaa do various things, too. Kalssoo sits and watches, and seems to be enjoying herself. Finally, after about two hours, it is time for lunch, so Kalssoo tells Kaa to wake you up, and Kaa does.
While eating lunch, Kalssoo asks, “So, what did you think?”
“I loved it. And you seemed to be enjoying yourself, too.”
“Yep. You were funny to watch. You’re a better dancer than I expected. And watching you try to hug Kaa’s coils as he slithered away was amusing.”
“You know, we could do this again sometime.”
Kalssoo smiles. “How about tomorrow?”
You agree, and this soon becomes the new routine. For an hour or two before lunch every day, Kalssoo tells Kaa to hypnotize you, and he does. Kalssoo then makes Kaa and you do a variety of amusingly wacky things, while she sits and watches. You get to be hypnotized by Kaa, which feels different from being hypnotized by Kalssoo, so you enjoy the variety. Both experiences are great, though.
In one sense, it worries you a bit that Kalssoo could indirectly hypnotize you any time that she wants to. When she tries to hypnotize you directly, you’re able to refuse it and look away. When Kaa tries to hypnotize you, you have no chance of resisting. Kaa’s hypnotic power is apparently stronger than Kalssoo’s. That Kalssoo can make Kaa hypnotize you whenever she wants means that Kalssoo can take control of you whenever she wants.
And yet, she doesn’t do so except with your permission. Not that it’s hard for her to get your permission. You tremendously enjoy being hypnotized, both by Kalssoo and by Kaa, and almost invariably grant permission when Kalssoo offers it.
