Sentai Filmworks continues to keep the announcements of rescued licenses coming, this time announcing a home video release for the 2005 moe comedy TV anime, Strawberry Marshmallow. Strawberry Marshmallow is based on the manga of the same name by Barasui, which is serialized in ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Daioh magazine. The TV series is directed by Takuya Sato and features animation from Duame.

Sentai Filmworks describes the series as follows: “Strawberry Marshmallow follows 20-year-old Nobue Itoh as she half-watches, half-instigates the adorable exploits of the elementary school kids Miu, Matsuri, Ana and her own sister, Chika.”

Strawberry Marshmallow was originally released on DVD in North America in 2006 by Geneon Entertainment, but this release is out-of-print. Sentai Filmworks new release will include both the English dubbed and Japanese with English subtitles versions of the series. Pricing and release date information are both still to-be-announced.
