Hello my lovely readers. As I say every time I do a monthly favourites post, I can’t believe how quickly the past month went. Although I am excited as it means Spring is on its way! So here are the products and other bits and bobs I loved in January.
Beauty
e.l.f. Lip Definer and Shaper
Etude House Silk Scarf Hair Treatment
In winter my hair needs a little more TLC so I’ve been using this hair treatment from Etude house. It makes my hair really soft and makes it looks so much healthier. It also means that styling my hair is a lot easier. I love the smell of this treatment, kind of like strawberries crossed with sun cream. I use it once a week after washing my hair and my hair definitely appreciates it.
Lancome Crème Radiance Cream-To-Foam Cleanser
Another gift from Kim was this face cleanser, it’s so gentle on the skin and makes my skin feel so fresh and clean. I’ve definitely noticed that I’ve had fewer break outs since I’ve been using this cleanser.
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara
While rummaging around in my makeup bag I came across this mascara tester. I brought this with a magazine (yes I bought the magazine purely for the tester) months ago and completely forgot all about it, oops! So I gave it a try and it’s amazing! This mascara really elongates my lashes while giving them loads of volume too. Even though it’s not waterproof I’ve found Roller Lash doesn’t smudge or flake away. I’ll definitely have to invest in the full sized one.
Entertainment
Fullmetal Alchemist:Brotherhood
Travel Man: 48 Hours In..
Richard Ayoade (or Moss if you are an IT Crowd fan) travels to cities for 48 hours with a fellow comedian each episode in order to filter out the “nonsense” and find the best parts of the city. It’s very funny but also really interesting, definitely watch if, like me, you have a case of Wanderlust.
I Want To Live by Nina Lugovskaya
This is the diary of a teenage girl living in Stalin’s Russia. It’s very informative and shows how frightening a time it was to live. I won’t go into too much detail as there will be a review of the book up on my blog soon (watch this space).
So those were my January Favourites, I hope you enjoyed reading about what I was loving in January. What were you enjoying in January? Have you tried any of these products?
Thanks for reading!
